Covenant not to compete is a document that many employers give their employees to sign. Basically agreeing that they will not open a business that competes with the business that they're working for after they leave for a period of time and while they're working. Some of those agreements are enforceable. Some of them are not enforceable. You really can't know whether it's enforceable unless you consult an attorney and have them review it.
