Unseaworthiness claim is against the owner of a vessel for not having a vessel that is seaworthy. What does that mean? That means that the vessel is either defective and has something physically wrong with it. It can also mean that it has an inadequately or improperly trained crew. It can mean that the vessel is not equipped with equipment that it should have. It is available to people who are injured against the owner of a vessel.
